Kiev / Production – 2019-20

An experimental work in progress that draws upon the creative potential established in the relation of production and reproduction outlined by Laszlo Moholy Nagy in his essay, Produktion-Reproduktion published in De Stijl No.7, 1922. In this case, it is to place photography in dialogue with the formal language of visual abstraction and constructed spatialities. To create ‘concrete’ form through the combination of photography, text and design elements. The intention is that these will be developed into a series of publications that reinterprets the photographic documentation.
